Ethan Moore joined the NMDP Registry through the University of Idaho (Idaho Alpha) in August 2022, shortly after the chapter’s return to campus. He first learned about the NMDP and its partnership with ΣΑΕ at the Executive Academy in January 2023, where he underwent swabbing and officially joined the registry.

Just two months later, Ethan learned he had matched. Each time he was called to donate, he gave an immediate yes, never hesitating and always grateful for the chance to help. His chapter even jokes that he has “Phi Alpha blood” because of how often he’s matched.

For Ethan, living as a True Gentleman means answering the call when someone needs him. Donating and following through every time is his way of making a real difference.

“For those brothers thinking of registering, I encourage you full-heartedly to swab and join as soon as possible,” Ethan shared. “There could be someone out there desperately in need of your stem cells, and you could be their perfect match. For brothers already registered or those that have gone on to donate, thank you for being TG and men I’m proud to call my brothers.”
