Central Florida Brothers Raise $38K for CMNH

On Saturday, November 15, 2025, the University of Central Florida (Florida Epsilon) chapter delivered a $38,000 check to their local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. They had the pleasure of touring the facility and seeing firsthand where the money they raised was going.

The chapter raised $38k for CMNH

The chapter began fundraising by securing event sponsors, raising nearly $5,000 from local businesses supporting their initiative. They organized on-campus events, including Pie-A-Brother, to collect more donations. A chapter-run car wash raised almost $6,000. Additionally, each brother had to raise $300 from friends, family, or other creative efforts.

The most important groups that contributed to their success were their sponsors, who provided funding for the event, and the Greek community on UCF’s campus, which attended and brought in their own peers.

The chapter promoted the event through every available avenue. They distributed flyers on campus and used sponsorship and personal social media. They also shared event details in the chapter alumni newsletter.

Eminent Deputy Archon Dane Piekarski attended more than a dozen meetings to promote the chapter’s Haunted House and build excitement. This year, the chapter created a fully immersive, one-of-a-kind Haunted House, unlike anything seen at UCF, nearby schools, or possibly even the entire state of Florida.

The brothers stayed motivated by watching their progress take shape each day. Dane energized the chapter with weekly presentations, inspiring them to push forward and take pride in something bigger than themselves.

“At times, my team and I had to literally carry this event through the hard times, and I believe that dedication and commitment inspired everyone around us,” Dane shared.
