The undergraduate chapter at the University of Texas at Tyler was bestowed the “Student Organization of the Year” Award at the annual Leadership and Service Awards Banquet, the university’s year-end accolades program. Over 100 student organizations were considered.
The chapter was acknowledged by the Student Engagement Office for “providing significant and positive contributions to campus life through their programs, activities, and organizational efforts”.
In addition to supporting SAE’s national philanthropic partner, Children’s Miracle Network, the chapter also volunteered at events such as Muscles for Miracles and the Miracle 5k Run.
