Brother Tim McCarthy (Kansas ’79) was awarded the Daughters of the American Revolution Medal of Honor on Monday, July 22, at a ceremony attended by several Brothers.
This is their most prestigious award and is rarely presented.
Judge McCarthy was recognized for his creation in Kansas of a special court to handle Veterans cases dealing with alcohol, drug treatment, and mental health services. Judge McCarthy and his team have produced success – so much so that other states and jurisdictions are calling on Judge McCarthy to help replicate his program.
