BAGI CEO Chris Hancock (Indiana State ’96) to speak at Westfield Chamber’s August Coffee

The Westfield Chamber of Commerce will welcome the new Chief Executive Officer of the Builders Association of Greater Indianapolis (BAGI), Chris Hancock, for the August Coffee Connections from 8 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 28 at Westfield Washington Public Library, 17400 Westfield Blvd.

More than 500 members strong, BAGI is committed to promoting the region’s new-home construction, educating both Chamber members and consumers on the homebuilding industry’s standards, practices, and happenings, and providing networking opportunities to encourage member business opportunities and success. BAGI is also preparing for the 2025 Home-A-Rama at Chatham Hills this September.

About Chris Hancock

Chris Hancock is a seasoned leader with a career spanning more than two decades in higher education, the fraternity and sorority industry, and nonprofit management. In March 2025, he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Builders Association of Greater Indianapolis (BAGI).

Prior to his role at BAGI, he ran a consulting business, where he served as Executive Director of the Fraternal Housing Association and Program Planner for the Society for the Preservation of Greek Housing. From 2020 to 2024, he served as the CEO of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity. His prior leadership roles include Executive Director of Triangle Fraternity, Senior Director of Operations and Alumni Development at Sigma Alpha Epsilon Financial & Housing Corporation, and executive positions with Ivy Tech Community College and the Indiana State University Alumni Association.

Hancock earned both his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from Indiana State University. He lives in Brownsburg with his wife Dana and their son Tyler.
