On August 8, 2022, Dr. James (Jim) H. Wand passed away due to a brief illness.
Wand was an incredible SAE brother, friend, and loved one to many. Many people looked up to him and enjoyed his high-energy live performances.
He was the founder and owner of Wand Enterprises, The Hypnosis Agency. He was involved in hypnosis for more than 20 years, had more than 5,000 professional engagements to his credit, and had hypnotized more than a million people. Wand held a Ph.D. in Psychology and is still considered to be one of the most professional hypnotic entertainers in the world. He has worked with Jay Leno, Chris Rock, Carrott Top, Heidi Klum, and Larry The Cable Guy among others.
He also authored 33 self-help programs and still has additional writings in the works.
Jim was initiated into the University of South Dakota, South Dakota Sigma chapter, in 2003. Jim was heavily involved with brothers across the realm and with the Fraternity Service Center, accomplishing many great things through his SAE experience. He has been a fixture at Leadership School for many years, especially during the Leadership School events held between 2010-2018.
Condolences to his family. Jim Wand has now moved into the chapter eternal and will be dearly missed by many.
