HUNTINGTON — Students worked on the blankets Wednesday to be donated to Sleep in Heavenly Peace, an organization that provides beds and bedding to children in need.
Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity at Marshall University organized the blanket drive, beginning at 10 a.m. in the Memorial Student Center, which would yield 11 blankets to be donated to the SHP chapter in Doddridge County.
SAE President Kamon Anderson said the national chapter is partnered with organizations like SHP, including Children’s Miracle Network.
Anderson said an organizer at SHP in Doddridge County said they are willing to accept the blankets, especially in the colder months when children are in need.
