The Ohio State (Ohio Theta) chapter has raised over $7,500 so far. This places them first among teams in Ohio State’s Student Fraternity Life division for BuckeyeThon.
A major highlight has been their partnership with Ohio State Buckeyes quarterback Julian Sayin. He visited the house earlier this month, spent time with members, and signed a jersey. The signed jersey is being raffled off to support BuckeyeThon fundraising efforts.
Every donation through a team member’s account counts as a raffle entry. The raffle winner will be drawn when fundraising concludes in February.
Brothers have stepped up in different ways throughout the campaign. Some organized personal fundraisers, others contacted hometown networks, and many promoted donations on social media.
“All of these efforts have helped us build real momentum for something meaningful to us,” Brian Gorski, Philanthropy Chairman, shared.
