UIFI is a four-day, three-night, immersive leadership experience where fraternity/sorority members come together from across the country to challenge conventional wisdom, discover new solutions to critical problems, and accelerate progress in their fraternity/sorority communities. Participants will learn from each other in large and small groups with space for individual reflection and introspection. The goal is for all participants to have a new perspective on their fraternity/sorority experience following their time at UIFI. To learn more, visit https://www.aflv.org/page/UIFI.

David Brown (Embry Riddle, FL) was an attendee last year, and here is what he has to say about his experience:
“UIFI was a positive experience because it was structured as an institute, not a conference. We stayed and slept in a sorority house on campus. This reenforced the idea of community bonding and shared experiences, as activities took place throughout the house instead of different sections and conference rooms that are usually present in a larger facility. All members lived together in a shared living space; many had nostalgia of living back in their own house or old dorm rooms. For myself, my chapter does not have a house, so I felt like I could form my own home and personal connections while I was there. This feeling of home and sibling-hood reaffirmed by beliefs in the fraternal experience, and why I believe it is a pivotal part of campus and community culture. I felt in tune with my own brotherhood, even though my chapter brothers were not with me. I still thought of our group and our values, and more importantly: what I could do to strengthen our bonds and relationships with one another.”
We hope you consider attending UIFi on behalf of Sigma Alpha Epsilon!
