On March 9, 2019, Sigma Alpha Epsilon unveiled our new, unified brand presence. This effort was in collaboration of the Fraternity, Foundation and SAE Financial and Housing Corp.
As men of SAE, we strive for the highest standards of friendship, scholarship, leadership, and service throughout life. The values put forth by our Founding Fathers are as relevant today as they were in 1856 and in order to keep our message as vibrant as our principles, the Supreme Council felt it was time to update SAE’s outward appearance and strengthen our collective voice as True Gentlemen. By taking a fresh look, there was opportunity to reflect on our achievements, rise above our challenges, and elevate our levels of responsibility and leadership to those we serve.
The goal was amibitious, but SAEs do not shy away from celebrating who we are and our updated brand message and image are embodiments of our values—raising them up to the highest positions of visibility for ourselves and to the larger world, and advancing SAE to even greater heights.
The decision to refresh our brand message and visual presence was not made lightly. A lot of time and effort went into making sure this renewal was done thoughtfully and respectfully. The professionals we utilized engaged students, alumni and volunteers in a variety of focus groups, and the voices they heard played a vital role in bringing together our collective thoughts and ideals to represent the value of the SAE experience.
In the coming weeks and months, you will see the branding come to life through our materials and resources to maximize opportunities to communicate what makes being an SAE special. By early next fall, we’ll also unveil a new website.
Like you, we believe it is our duty to better ourselves, our brothers and everyone around us by holding true to our beliefs, while taking the next steps in our collective journey. Because now, more than ever, the world needs True Gentleman to light the way forward.
