The SAE Mother Mu chapter at The University of Alabama announced the Gregory David Johnston Award Scholarship winner for the 2024 freshman class. Mac Barcroft of Memphis, Tennessee, was recognized by the chapter as the Outstanding Freshman from this year’s class. The announcement was made at Parent’s Weekend. Also recognized with Order of The Lion Awards were Mother Mu Alumni Spencer Burchfield (Alabama ’82) and Steven Rumsey (Alabama ’86).
The Gregory David Johnston Award Scholarship is given to the outstanding Freshman each year at Mother Mu. The Scholarship was endowed by the family of Brother Johnston, who died in an automobile accident while enrolled at Alabama.
