Helping young men feel prepared to attend college

Five years of the Men’s College Scholarship

The Men’s College Scholarship — funded by the Elevating Fraternities Campaign — is designed to identify and reward outstanding high school seniors who have demonstrated an ability to excel in the fields of academics, extra-curricular school activities and community involvement. It is available to any male graduating high school senior who is enrolling in a four-year undergraduate college program that commences in the fall of 2026. Current or future membership in a fraternity is not required.

Since the scholarship’s launch in 2022, $188,000 has been awarded to 299 deserving young men, financially assisting them in their higher education pursuits. Now in its fifth cycle, we’re excited to continue awarding scholarships to deserving young men in 2026! Read about past recipients.

Scholarship promotion & outreach

Each year, information about the scholarship as well as the value and benefits of fraternity membership are sent to high school counselors, parents of past applicants, student mentors and more. For 2026, we are proud to share that three email campaigns are running simultaneously, sharing information with:

  • 29,493 high school counselors
  • 8,872 recommenders of past applicants
  • 14,520 parents/guardians of past applicants

The NIC and FFE social media accounts also share regular updates and promotions with followers. In addition to our own efforts, we have also partnered with Scholarships.com to promote the program directly to all eligible students using their platform.

How you can promote the scholarship

The scholarship is awarded through the Foundation for Fraternal Excellence, a registered 501(c)3 organization.
