Dr. Doug Darling (North Dakota ’84) was honored during a retirement dinner celebrating 14 years as President of Lake Region College in Devils Lake, North Dakota.
“The greatest thing about SAE brotherhood is how it endures through time,” Gary Selberg (North Dakota ’83) said. “Life gets in the way of consistent contact, but the brothers take up right where they left off over 40 years ago. We were honored to organize and fly in and surprise Doug at this event.”
Six fraternity brothers from around the country flew in to surprise Dr. Darling at the event.
Brothers who attended were Mike Pung (North Dakota ’85), John Seykora (North Dakota ’85), Mark Hutton (North Dakota ’85) and his wife June, Scott Johnson (North Dakota ’85), Gary Selberg (North Dakota ’83), Mike Wobbema (North Dakota ’83), and of course, Dr. Doug Darling (North Dakota ’84) and his wife Teresa.
The Sigma Alpha Epsilon bond is everlasting.
