Congratulations and Phi Alpha to brother Tony Boselli (USC ’95) for getting inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame this year. This is an honor that only 362 players in the NFL are honored to do so.
Don Bosco Anthony Boselli Jr., Tony Boselli, is an American former football tackler who played in the National Football League for seven seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars, from 1995 to 2001. He played college football at USC, where he was recognized as a first-team All-American.
He was chosen for the NFL’s 1990’s All-Decade Team and eventually elected to the College Football Hall of Fame in 2014.
“It took about half a practice that he was the real deal and that he was going to be very, very good for the Jacksonville Jaguars,” Brunell said in his introduction of Boselli aired live on ESPN. Tony is the first player from the Jacksonville Jaguars to be selected into the 2022 Hall of Fame. 5 out of the 6 games he played in the NFL, he went on to play in the Pro Bowl.
During his career, he experienced various injuries and his games were cut short. He pushed through and came out strong, which has led him to this amazing opportunity.
We thank Tony for not only upholding the values of a True Gentleman but also for his contributions to our organization. He attended our 75th National Leadership School, where he spoke at and engaged with many SAE brothers.
